Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga, a pop artist who is well-known throughout the world. She was born on Manhattan, New York in the United States. Cynthia Louise Bissett, vice president at Verizon Mobile. Her father was businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an Internet-based networking company. Her family was Catholic and she was raised in the Upper East Side in Manhattan. For this reason her parents put her into the Convent of the Sacred Heart an elitist and religious school. Her love of music began as a small child. She learned how to play a keyboard, and at the age of 13, wrote her very first song. She participated in open-mic nights. Her favorite singers were queens Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. When she finished high school she attended the Tisch School of Art at New York University to study music. After high school, however she enrolled in the Tisch School of Fine Arts at New York University to learn about music.
